Sylvia is a professionally trained audiobook narrator who has worked extensively as a theatre educator, director, and performer.  ​She also records under the pseudonym Mikaela Del Rey.

     Sylvia’s immersive and versatile performance style allow her to work in all fiction genres, specializing in thrillers, fantasy, romance, cozy mysteries, comedy, contemporary fiction, and their many subgenres.  

     When not creating imaginary worlds in dark windowless rooms, Sylvia can be found making complicated and decadent cakes (to varying degrees of success and mess), chasing the sunshine on outdoor family adventures, or finding creative ways to embarrass her kids in public (she is always open to new suggestions)!
